Welcome to The Chilterns Dial-a-Ride

Mini Bus

The Chilterns Dial-a-Ride is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing an affordable, accessible and safe transport service for people living in or close to Chiltern District who, due to age, illness or disability are not able to transport themselves or use public transport services. We run a door to door, round-trip service, using our specially equipped vehicles with wheelchair access and trained, caring drivers. Our smaller vehicles are mainly driven by volunteers.

We serve both individuals and community based organisations, both for local journeys and longer journeys of up to 30 miles outside Chiltern, High Wycombe and South Bucks Districts (excluding London).

The Chilterns Dial-a-Ride offers services for individual users and¬† community groups. Whether it is a hospital appointment you need to make or a visit to the shops or to a relative of friend; Chiltern’s Dial-a-Ride has a solution.

“Our service is specifically tailored to help those with mobility problems or simply find it difficult to get to a bus stop or too expensive to hire a taxi. There is room and special support for wheelchairs as well as space for your carer.”

We provide regular trips each month to a variety of interesting destinations. Our schedule constantly changes. Why not consider a day trip to the seaside, or to one of the many attractions we visit each month.
